This isn't directed at any particular person, or any particular threads, it simply occured to me to ask for everyone's consideration on an issue that occassionally irks me - which I've been guilty of myself in the past, hence why I noticed it

It's this:

Please don't be glib - don't assume what other people's reasons or motivations are; don't critisize people for not knowing something; don't look down on people who are still at a place you've moved on from - because you had to go through there to get to where you are now.
