I figured I would post here before throwing something up in the General Web Building forum.
Just a thought, but I would like to see a thread similar to the
Online Tutorial thread in the Graphics and Mulitmedia section that contains a list of good XHTML and CSS layouts (of course this would go in the General Web Building forum or the HTMl & CSS forum... not the Graphics one

).
I feel like there is a common misconception that most CSS and XHTML sites are boring and dull. I mean, with all the blogs out there, I can see where people get this idea. But there are so many more pages that are beautifully done using only XHTML and CSS.
This idea of mine comes in light of a few threads and also in with
zeldman going post crazy with sites! Oh yeah, and also this interesting fact: "the Inc.com home page file size dropped from 52KB to 24KB, down by 54%. Almost the exact same percentage as the Adaptive Path and Wired News redesigns. See a viable trend emerging here? (
stop design)"
I would list some sites... but that can come later. Plus, if you've been readin Zeldman, you've already seen a good deal!
Hopefully my idea will fly
