Unhappy Dreamweaver TEMPLATE insanity! Editable region error

I've built a website (219 pages now!) and when I update site via the template page, it only picks up 2 of the pages. Then I have to update site to do the rest. It was slightly annoying, but it's been this way for ages.

Now, it throws up about 21 pages when I'm updating all the site with this error...

Error accessing file "C:\Users\..(etc)\titan_template.dwt":file not found (error code 2)

I started my second website off the back of this one, but don't have this file on this site, so don't know why it's there.

Then for the other pages I get this error....

There is an error at line 3, column 35 (absolute position 68) of "C:\Users\....(etc)...\index.html": Nested editable regions

Here is my code....
Code:
<html xmlns="undefined">
<head>
<!-- #BeginEditable "doctitle" -->
<title>KAWASAKI - YAMAHA - SEADOO - POLARIS - TIGERSHARK - GENUINE, OEM &amp; AFTERMARKET PARTS &amp; SPARES - JET SKI SERVICING &amp;  REPAIRS - PWC INSURANCE - ALL WATERSPORTS ACCESSORIES!</title>
<!-- #EndEditable -->

<td></td>

<style type="text/css">

.style7 {font-size: medium}
-->
</style>
</head>
<body bgcolor="#FFFFFF" text="#000000" background="../images/background.gif" leftmargin="0" topmargin="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" viewsource="no"><td><script language=JavaScript>

</script></td>
I would be so grateful if ANYONE would be able to give me some ideas of where I've gone wrong. My other site is working fine, although its only about 12 pages. Fingers crossed there's someone who can help.

THank you for looking!

I've had several views on my question, but no answers. Just wondered why? Is this too involved? If so, where do I go to get answers? Thank you.

The problem is that those people who are usually able to help are actually writing their code by hand and not using Dreamweaver or not using the template system of Dreamweaver at least. So, I, for example, could tell you where you have errors in the HTML or whatever but your question is actually related to Dreamweaver’s workings, not just HTML. You might have more luck with this in a forum specialized in Dreamweaver issues.

And look what comes up with a quick internet search: http://www.google.com/search?q=dream...itable+regions

I do understand "sections" of HTML...it's like understanding french, but not being able to speak a word. I get the gist of what it says. So, would anyone be able to point me in the right direction? Please?!

Look what I found with another quick search for “file not found (error code 2) dreamweaver”:
  1. http://www.highdots.com/forums/macro...ot-128060.html
  2. http://www.highdots.com/forums/macro...-a-193301.html
  3. http://www.highdots.com/forums/macro...-a-153862.html
  4. http://www.webdesignforums.net/threa...emplate.29356/
  5. http://www.highdots.com/forums/macro...2-a-99619.html

Maybe there is something among these that might help?

I would suggest posting this in the adobe forums for DW. forums.adobe.com They have a DW specific forum and should be able to answer you very quickly. You'll have to register of course, but its free as well.
