Apache Is Not For The Faint Hearted!

Hi,

Please help!! i just installed apache on my system and im baffled really i have completly no idea! I've nearly finished my site but i have no idea how to set it up. I have a domain name that i bought and i want to host it with that please help me and tell me how i can do this?

what is the os on the system that your domain name points too? And is it yours?

Im Using Xp home edition. I honest dont know what your talking about sorry im pretty new and dum the domain is mine all i really want is a step by step on how i can do the above mate!

Hi,

I own a full domain not sub domain and i want to host my website with either Apache or Abyss on my own computer with my adsl connection. Abyss is the easier option but is apache better for doing this? Im mostly using php for the fourms and normal javascript and html for pages.

So please give me a step by step on how to do this?
This is pretty much my only option ! i really new to hosting myself.
