Help with menu!

Preview of menu:

http://www.webstaurantstore.com/test...te/index3.html

It's the main menu with the double line... It currently has a mouseover indent... but when it mouse's over the curved edges do not indent and it looks cut off... How can I make it happen so that the curved edges also look indented when mousing over either the 1st link or the last link.

Should I redo the menu as 1 main background image then overlay mouseovers?
