Protected upload area

Hi Guys,

I have a friend who is an accountant and would really like the option for clients to be able to upload large files. Obviously this would need to be user controlled and password protected.

I have looked at loads of options, I would really like to use PHP, CGI or something however all the best solutions have involved WP, CMSMS, Drupal etc...

Does anybody know of a good free script I could use?

Many thanks in advance

Have you really tried to find this on google? I did a quick search and found tons of free scripts. Dig around.

I suppose more than anything I am looking for reccomendations as it is not something I have looked at before.

I have seen quite a few, but not many with a really user friendly back-end for my friend to add users etc...

I appreciate the link, however Google is already my best friend in the world
