<Newbie question>
Hello peeps. Hopefully someone will be able to point me in a correct direction with building this site.
I'm new to html/css and have pretty much been winging it, which has proven to be unsuccessful.
Here is the design layouts for the main page and subsequent pages (it's of an adult nature but nothing pornographic can be seen):
My initial attempt was to create centre the main image as a background image and to have all buttons/text etc overlay it. This resulted in the background image moving when resizing the browser and all buttons staying in the same position.
My next attempt was using layers. Having the main image as a regular image and using layers to add images on top. The main hiccup hear was whenever text was resized via the browser it would shift the other objects about.
So now I'm asking would be the "Proper" way of building this site to avoid these problems (Which I'm sure are results of me winging it)?
My thoughts now are to split the main image into seperate objects so that each added object doesn't overlay anything, as everything is it's own "puzzle piece". This is kinda how it's suppose to be built right?
Thanks
Beany
