Design Idea for a site

I was wondering wat everyone thought of this little design for a site interface, that I whipped up. Keep in mind, the intention was "simplicity". Comments and Criticism welcome.

change the color.......and I think you should..........anyway, just my opinion, I don't really like blue maybe

I agree, a little lighter, it is too dark as it is.

yeah thats much better. i like the red and black but maybe th red needs to be still a little brighter to stand out from the black
