IE 7 & 8 - CSS - page body adds extra width, causes scrolling.

Hey All -

This is my first post here, and I'm at my wits end, so I'm really hoping for some help. I'm pushing a skin on an application called Jive which involves creating a new theme.css stylesheet that overwrites the standard layout. It's not always pretty, but it's what we got.

The final problem is a weird space, bottom right hand corner, where the footer is filling 100% to the size of the page body, but it seems that the page body is actually filling beyond the size of the browser, causing a horizontal scroll even tho the content is only 1030px wide (header, footer content all 1030px too).

You should be able to view the problem here:

On ie 7/8 a horizontal scroll bar comes up, and then leaves a strange extra space to the right of the footer. I'm at a total loss - works on every other browser - even ie6 - so I just dont know.

Please help!

thanks
