PHP Objects, Patterns, and Practice
Hey all,
I'm not well versed with the amazon.com layout. But if you notice, the book php objects, patterns and practice is in two different sections with two different ratings:
http://www.amazon.com/PHP-5-Objects-.../dp/1590593804
(good ratings)
http://www.amazon.com/Objects-Patter.../dp/143022925X
(bad ratings)
Their written by the same guy on the same year, except one says PHP5 in title and other doesn't. Is this not the same book?

Similar, but one has information 5 years out of date. Editions are under product details, nearer the bottom of the product page.

Thanks for response. Why do you think the older one has better Amazon customer ratings?

It has far less ratings, so hasn't evened out over time. Aside from that, I'd ask in the Psychology forum

One is a first edition and the other is the 3rd edition. Basically a different book.
But on a sidenote....if you want a PHP book that goes over advanced PHP topics you should try:
http://www.amazon.com/PHP-Advanced-V...ref=pd_sim_b_6
