Welcome to the "Web Projects" forums. Before you post, make sure you've selected the correct category based on the size of your project (in US dollars), or whether it is a partnership or "looking for work" request instead. Observe the guidelines for this section:
To all thread starters, check your "pm" box for responses, as that's how bidders will be communicating with you mainly using. You can turn on new pm notification by going to "User CP"-> "Edit Options"-> "Receive Email Notification of New Private Messages".
To respondents, avoid replying to a thread with a short generic response like "pm sent" as much as possible. It is pointless and clutters up the screen.
To respondents, don't reply to a work request with a summary of your resume. If you're not willing to spend the time to at least read the request and respond specifically to the request, then don't reply. The Web Projects forum isn't a place to get your resume/ portfolio posted on as many threads as possible, it's for the direct, human interaction between coder and client. Members who blanket the forums with their resume replies will be treated as spammers and banned.
To all thread starters, please update your thread's prefix to "resolved", when you've found a coder for your project or partnership (or wish to terminate the request). This is so coders don't waste time bidding on an invalid project. To do this, click on the "Edit" button under the first post of the thread, then the "Go Advanced" button. You have 14 days to update your thread's title.
Just looking to get a quote on the following small jobs.
1) I'd like a poll created with the following:
- 80+ options,
- The ability to have multiple categories of polls with 80 different options for each (so, the user would go to the site, see the poll, and have the option to select which category and then all 80 options within that particular category show up)
- The poll results must reorder in realtime. Thus, if one persons vote makes X pass A, X must pass A automatically on the users screen, without refreshing. If its possible to make some cool animation with it, that'd be great.
- Votes must be anonymous.
- If possible, I want the option to enable ANONYMOUS COMMENTS under each item in the category. So, for example, option A would have the little [#] in the corner of the option which would allow it to be expanded and comments to be added/viewed.
2) Minor graphic design. I'm creating a site that spoofs the layout and name of another site (that serves legitimate purposes), so I'd like to spoof the logo as well. Really, this might simply entail adding one of those red/teacher-added letters in front of part of the logo. For example, think of a website called "Log" and I want to spoof it with something called "Blog" by adding a "^B" in front of Log.
3) Site layout. Again, I want it to mirror the layout of the site I'm "spoofing." This shouldn't be too difficult since the layout is already there, I just don't know how to copy the layout and also add my own stuff to it (like the poll).
I can do the design elements for you. If you could send me the site you are spoofing I can get started right away with the logo first and we will work on the design from there. I can also code the website to HTML/CSS, but I will need a programmer to help build the poll. I can help you find one.
Cost, I will say 50$ for the logo. I get your concept, once I see the logo you are spoofing it should come together fast. Page design around 200$, and $75-$100 to the homepage.
I could do the designing part for you. I would suggest you give the link so I can look at the designs. I am a moderate coder so I might be able to help with coding the site. Depending on the logo, I could probably do it for $20 USD or maybe even less.
