PHP/MySQL Online RPG Game - Coding and Debugging
1) Project Details: (be as specific as possible): I own a PHP coded online RPG (Fantasy setting, not Mafia) that has been in development for 3 years now. It's about 90% complete however there are still a few things that are left to code in and ensure that it has complete functionality. Besides that, the game has many bugs.
The job of the programmer I need is to take code that is already complete, learn it, adapt to it, and finish it. Also they will be required to find all bugs by thoroughly testing every aspect of the game, and be able to fix them in a timely and proficient manner.
Requirements:
PHP and MySQL Expert
PayPal Merchant knowledge for player subscriptions
RPG, Browser Based RPG, and MMORPG knowledge
Works Quickly
Self Motivated
Able to work with previous written code
Able to follow directions and give valuable input
Able to efficiently find and fix bugs
Please be able to provide examples of previous work (RPG related preferably).
The winning bid will receive all files and documents that will be required to complete this job. Upon receiving the documents, the programmer must go through every single aspect of the game and test it... and try to break it. Should a bug be found, the programmer should be able to correct it.
Please feel free to ask (through PM of course) any questions related to the Game or the Project at hand. An URL, along with further details, will also be provided to potential coders so they may see what they will be working with.
It is possible for the chosen coder to have a permanent position as Lead Coder once game goes live if they choose to be and have shown to be reliable and efficient.

4) Additional Info (about project or potential bidders): Please don't bid if you don't understand the aspects of an RPG, not fluent in the required programming language, or don't have experience with PayPal and how it's integrated into a Browser Based game.
