Semi-uncompatible multi-level drop down menu issue

I'm using the Smooth Navigational Menu from Dynamic Drive on this website. If you hover over "Practice Areas", you'll see the effect.

The script works perfect in Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Opera, but in Safari and Google Chrome, the sub menus are about 2 ems higher.

The script is located here, and the CSS here. I don't want to add in any coding hacks, but if anyone could offer me a bit of advise or a solution, I'd be grateful. Thank you
