Something wrong: email notification

Hmm, I've gotten triples or even quartets of email notifications regarding the same posting for a few days. Is this something that happens because of editing in the threads or is it simply some kind of error on the server's part?

It's several threads.
To mention those I've had more than doubles of:

If you edit your own posts in a thread, you get a notification. Which can be quite confusing sometimes and is not making much sense.

That's correct, editting your own post will trigger a notification as well. VB is currently not able to determine the nature of a modified thread. I hope this is the problem you're experiencing liorean, other than something else.

That's the suspicion I had about why I got multiples of them - I often modify my posts, because I forget to preview them, or find things to correct later.

Easy to find out (even i did), just look at the first paragraph of the message.

I might be mistaken, buth i thought that you used to only get one mail for each thread. (i mean, if 5 people posted in that thread since your last visit, that you only got one mail) But now, i get one for each post. That also is not making much sense.
