Location: Manhattan, New York City – onsite Permanent role (no relocation)
Description:
Growing financial services firm, a niche industry leader, in midtown Manhattan has several exciting Software Development opportunities in its Information Technology department. Software products are delivered through the Web, Bloomberg, and Windows/Unix platforms. Developers will be involved in all aspects of product development life cycle: design, develop, test, debug, write system and user documentation, and provide application support for clients. We have openings in front-end UI designers with strong creative backgrounds with core Perl skills.
Qualifications:
-Excellent communication and writing skills, problem solving and analytical skills, organizational skills and strong interpersonal skills are required.
Required Skills and Experience:
-Strong Perl programming experience: CGI, OO, etc. Strong OO designers in PHP also welcome
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering related fields.
-2 - 5 years programming experience in Linux/Unix and Windows environment using Perl, SQL, JavaScript, DHTML, HTML.
Bonus Skills and Experience:
-ASP.NET/C#, .NET Framework, C/C++, XML, Web Services and Fixed Income knowledge will be very valuable.
- Salary Range:
$60,000 - $90,000 (potential for more DOE), with 15-20% potential bonus and fantastic benefits.
