Are you talking about "logo.jpg" or "bodyBg.jpg"?

Since your site already has an .html extension, you would use Javascripting
to call a PHP script ... otherwise, it would probably be better to use pure PHP.

I mention PHP for other reasons ... future CMS (content management) and
other dynamic features. But would you rather use Javascripting for the
swapping? And how should it swap ... randomly, by day, by week? What it the
criteria for swapping? And do you have other images in the same directory? Give
us the filenames for some of the othe images it will be swapping.

It's the bodybg image and I would name them all the same just 1 , 2 , 3 on the end there will be 10 images total and would change say every 5 seconds or something not sure if that's possible.

Thanks so much for your reply.

The problem with changing those is that it would require a page refresh each time.
Possibly it could be done using Flash?

Some questions to ask them ...
What is their reasoning for changing the background?
What benefits would changing the background have on their business or website?
What affect would that have on the concentration of someone trying to read or view the content?
Is it really necessary? Will it increase their business, or create return visits?
