menu hiding behind banner in ie 6 & 7

I am having a problem with my jquery mega drop down menu hiding behind my jquery scroll banner in ie6 and 7 only.

Here is a link to the page: http://bit.ly/6gSsty

This was not happening until I added a div with position:relative styling so that I could place the slide number selector on the actualy image.

If I take off the position relative everything works as it should.

any ideas why it is being hidden in ie6 and 7?

Hi,

To be honest with you I really don't remember what I did to fix this issue however I did get it fixed. If you take a look at the newer page I did some work on the menus should appear in front of the jquery slideshow.

I may have just changed which slideshow I was using. Not sure though. Hopefully you can figure it out from this.

It is not slideshow, it is CSS issue. I looked at you CSS style and i set z-index:10000; to all Mega Drop Down list on my CSS and it is working now.

Thanks for replying.

Smile Resolved and distinguish the nature of a problem

Hi, I was also facing the same issue but thanks to Sackstein's Posts: 144.

Simply added "z-index:999999;" top level index to each ul/li class in your CSS file to bring the MegaDropDown menu fron jQuery Sliders/Banners etc...
