Custom Icon in the URL of NN7

I've noticed, recently, that NN7 has a custom icon that loads to the left of the URL... any idea how to create something for that, considering Netscape Dev won't give me any info?

Not a big deal, purely cosmetic, just wanted to know:
1. How to do it
2. Is this something I'm going to see more often in new browser extra junk that I should probably do just to say I can

It is a favorite icon, the same thing that IE supported in the past is now supported by the newer gens of NS.

http://javascriptkit.com/howto/customicon.shtml

The instructions for getting it to work in IE are identical for getting it work in NS7+.
