Looking for a php coder for free project!

Hi Guys,

Firstly just let me explain that this is a free project as its going to be a non-profit website. When we get popular i guess we could add some adsense advertising to pay for the development!

The general idea behind the website is to help users (/DJs) share their rare or hard to find tunes whilst ensuring they get rewarded for doing so. The website will require users to register an account after which they will be able to help build the community by filling a request of another user; they will then get a credit to make their own request.

We want to build a helpful community of users working towards a database of links where the users are forced to become more than just leechers. Obviously they will be able to simply download the links they want from other user’s filled requests but the aim is that users all help each other fill the requests.

We would need a registeration, community, database, cms and credit system built into the site.

I have created a google group with some other users to disscuss ideas for this project. Iv also created a vector logo, website layout design and an initial project specification which i'l send to anyone whos interested in working on this website.

Mate, I don't think anybody will do it for FREE. You can get some discounted rate for this kind of project as it is non-profit but absolutely free is not possible at all.

Ok well, i would be willing to pay for a coder to do it i suppose as long as we could agree on a fixed fee ?

How much would you estimate something like this costing ?

Uh, I can make a very simply PHP-MYSQL site with the above features and integrate a design. I'll also add a phpBB forum (or any other free/open source forum script) in. Since this would take me like, less then two hours, I'd do it for $20USD.

I have my reasons for charging such a low price, which I can explain privately if you would like. If you're interested, PM me and we'll talk more.
