MYSQL/PHP & SMS (Short Message Service) Capability

Hi,

I'm building a website and want to include SMS (Short Message Service) capability to it. The desire is simply for the text message to change the status on the users account with either an 'ON' or 'OFF' position.

Does anyone know if MySQL is capable of this, if so does anyone have any information or experience in this sort of Web/SMS functionality, that they would be happy to share?

Thanks,

Nat

You need an SMS gateway to forward the text msg on to your server, where you can process the message in PHP or ASP or whatever, and do whatever updates you need to do in MySQL.
