Question is sign off possible for htaccess authentications?

Hi.

The title says it all, really.

I have a site with an exclusive area, protected with htaccess, and I'm trying to figure out whether or not I can add a sign off option that just stops the authentication and redirects users to the general access area of the site, asking for a new login should they try to get back 'inside'...

Anyone?

Thanks.
