Yes, a CMS. To answer your question on which, use a forum search. There are many recent threads covering that topic.

CaptainB is an unknown quantity at this point
I can highly recommend this: http://www.cmsimple.com/
I have just used it for one of my clients, and I'm amazed by how easy it is to customize/install add-ons/integrate into an existing design. And with wysivyg editor (the add-on provides clean xhtml).

Worth a look..

Hmm, I don’t know… The website and the demo don’t convince me at all (made of tables – ugh! Even if it’s possible to write semantic code it’s not the best way to present oneself). Also the CMS seems to require a lot of background knowledge when adding/editing pages (using certain headings for certain functions) – plus it just doesn’t create clean code.

It may be relatively secure due to the fact that it doesn’t use a database but the fact that the newest references are from 2004 (along with seeing the outdated code) doesn’t make it very trustful to me.

I’d rather recommend CMS Made Simple which is what the name implies: Very simple to set up and use. It can get a little elaborate if you use some advanced features/modules but it’s completely customizable in no time in its basic installation. And it’s updated frequently.
