To all thread starters, check your "pm" box for responses, as that's how bidders will be communicating with you mainly using. You can turn on new pm notification by going to "User CP"-> "Edit Options"-> "Receive Email Notification of New Private Messages".
To respondents, avoid replying to a thread with a short generic response like "pm sent" as much as possible. It is pointless and clutters up the screen.
To respondents, don't reply to a work request with a summary of your resume. If you're not willing to spend the time to at least read the request and respond specifically to the request, then don't reply. The Web Projects forum isn't a place to get your resume/ portfolio posted on as many threads as possible, it's for the direct, human interaction between coder and client. Members who blanket the forums with their resume replies will be treated as spammers and banned.

I am looking for someone who can finish coding a website. It is up and running but the coder was very young and does not know how to finish it. We have scoreboards from ESPN and daily content links for the front page that need to be put in. Also we have an area called Office pools that is almost complete that needs to be finished so members can play against each other for bragging rights.The site is free to join and there are a couple of small issues that need to be addressed. I have a good offer for anyone who can help me finish it. The site is www.wagerliners.com I want someone who can finish it and maintain it from time to time. I also have several companies who want to advertise on our site and whoever completes it and keeps it running I am offering 25% of the revenue which can be validated by monthly statements from the companies who advertise with us. They are waiting for the site to be finished as well. One it is finished we can start to fully promote it. It will be for no less than three years of income for completing and just making sure everything runs ok in addition to the up front money offered.
I am just being upfront and hopefully one of you guys will be able to get it done so I can start to promote the site.That will bring more members as well.

I want to be honest here. I want a US company or US coder to complete the site. I do not want to deal with time zone issues or language problems ect. I am looking long term here and as I have been to over 76 countries in this World, I mean no disrespect. I want someone in the US who can call me anytime he needs to and I want to help out one of my own because this country needs to get back on track. I want someone who understands US sports. I am looking for someone who I can count on and who can count on me. If you live in any time zone in the US, that is fine. I want someone who can spend a little time every week to make some good money in the near future. That said, I want it to be someone here who knows exactly what is needed and knows US sports or at least understands what I am talking about when we speak. In India for example the home team is on the top and in the US the home team is ALWAYS on the bottom of the score page. I have the feeds and everything to make this quick and easy but know very little about code. So any takers here? Let me know as I know everything about sports so I can walk you through any problem you do not understand.

It may be that I could get on board with you, but it really depends on what language the site's been written in on the backend. I'd imagine it's PHP, since a young kid did it, and the likelihood a young kid has access to an ASP, CF, or other "enterprise" development environment is pretty small, but it would be great if you could confirm this.

The database is in a myphpadmin so I would have to say it is php. That said, if you PM me I will send yousome of it to look at or I can get you into the database as well. Just send me a message so I can respond to you. I remember him saying that this database and the tools offered from the host made it easy to get going. Even I have been able to fix certain things on the site with it and I know nothing about code at all. I fix scores lines ect and update posts or correct them for others and it appears to have all the tools needed.
