Modification to javascript page blocker

1) Project Details: (be as specific as possible): I have a script that blocks the access to a page until an action is taken by a visitor. It loads a sort of gateway on top of the page. My current setup loads this gateway, but it takes a few seconds to do it, giving the visitor enough time to access the links on the page. The idea is that an overlay loads as soon as the page starts to load, so the user can't access the links on the page.
I have the code for another script that has these functions i require. The work i need to be done is to integrate these functions in my current script.

So you want an overlay over the entire site so that people cant use the links until they take the actions correct? Like the semi-transparent popups that usually require registration? If so then I believe that I can whip up a quick function(s) for that. Can you PM me the site url of your current example?
