help with states and nests.

Hi all,

I am a noob in Flex and AS3, and am having trouble with nests..

I am have created a component.mxml with multiple states, and buttons on the base state to link to each level of state.

The problem is that when this component is added into the main mxml file the buttons don't work, and it only shows the base state..

any help would be great..
