Question online map with flex?

Iam noob to flex and must write an app that shows maps in high resolution.
The map is not a single image but a partition of many raster images. Modestmaps seems to be nice but iam not allowed to use any component. Please say how it is done?.

I think, TS want not Google.Maps
IMHO, he need to learn mathematic(to connect many images to single big image, yes?)
Or I don`t understand problem...
