wedding album

I got married may 2, 2009. When I contracted for someone to take photo's I insisted that they supply a cd with all the wedding Photos on it. My familly is in texas and the wedding is in new york, So I want to build an album on my comp so everyone can log in and download the pictures they want. That way I do not have to make copys of them and mail to everyone. If I remember right I should be able to do this with HTML and CSS. I know it is done nowdays using a database and java or some other comman script but I should be able to do it using just HTML and CSS but ca not find examples on the web. Any body have any good links or info.

Hello dvdljns,
To avoid making it more complicated than it needs to be, unless you feel you need to learn HTML and CSS, there is a free photo album generator that I've used quite a bit.
It might be the easiest approach for you.

Your family could flip through the pictures and save the ones they want to keep using the mouse rightclick/save as.

I have some stuff like that plus I think both photoshop and coldfussion has them in it but I just thought that maybe there were some old html examples out there. Thanks. I will pull out notepad or frontpage and play around with them and it will come back to me.
