As to your site, its just a forum with some colors that clash. The orange text is hard to read on the gradient background behind them. To me your external links are blank, maybe adblock is blocking them, yes as suspected you are using adsense for your external links.
On the bottom your site you have a list of keywords. This usually is a no no in terms of SEO as some search engines will black list you.
