e-commerce installation, must handle credit card payments securely

1) Project Details: (be as specific as possible):i need an e-commerce system setup, that has a secure way to handle credit cards.

Wether this is opensourcecommerce with a payment module and ssl certificate, or something different, isnt as issue. But there is a very tight budget.


2) Payment Amount: Due to the nature of the project, i am expecting the quote to come in 2 parts: 1) Setup fee 2) monthly fee for gateway/certificates/anything else.

The setup fee you quote must include any fees for software.

3) Payment method/ details (Paypal, check? Timeline?): paid by paypal, completed ASAP

4) Additional Info (about project or potential bidders): This is posted elsewhere, and i will be selecting the best quote from all of them. proof you can complete this project is an advantage.

If you are an e-commerce merchant, you must comply with all your local laws, such as all tax acts, trade practices, Sale of Goods (or similar) acts, lemon laws (as applicable), and so on. You should consult a source of legal advice competent for your jurisdiction to find out what is necessary.

If you are a credit card merchant, you have agreed to the credit card merchant agreements. Typically, these are extremely strict about the amounts of fraud allowed, and the guidelines for “card holder not present” transactions. You must read and follow your agreement.
