Tell me a common error(functionality) if I do NOT lock a state variable using <cflock> ...?

Read this article. http://www.adobe.com/devnet/server_a...practices.html. Just skip the sections of "Single Threaded Sessions", "Automatic Read Locking", and "Full Checking" as I believe that they no longer apply to the most recent versions of ColdFusion.
