Er, that faceparty is one interesting website. //-- me wonders whether to sign up whilst pondering whether it breaks the rules or not...

The answer to your question is thus; the corners are images [gifs to be precise] they are in a table and aligned so they're in the outer corners. Quite simple really.

Good programs for interfaces, drawing buttons etc are; Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop LE and Photoshop, in escalating cost. There are others naturally, there's one called GIMP which is free and quite powerful.

Ahem! What about Fireworks?

I use Fireworks MX for virtually everything - it has just about replaced every other graphics tool for me. I only occasionally use Paint Shop Pro nowadays, and PhotoShop even less

And, I don't think he was breaking the rules with FaceParty? I'm sure most people know about it already in any case

The semi-nakedness and general adult nature is, well, hmmm. //-- me sits on fence.

The last time I used Fireworks was a few yearrs back and it was poor; seemed only capable of png's. Alot of people rave about it so I'll assume it's improved.

Regarding poll's, try somewhere like http://Hotscripts.com, a poll uses server side languages which you may or may not have access too. If not then you'll need to use a hosted one. Php and ASP are currently server sde technologies, MySQL may come into play too with php, this is a database which again you may or may not have access to on your server.

That kind of attitude will get you nowhere - very, very fast.

If you cannot do simple curves in a paint program then I would like to suggest that you need a checkup of some kind, but that would be rather rude

I suggest, RTFM (Read The Freaking Manual) or else ask *nicely* next time. Otherwise no-one is going to bother wasting their time with you.
