TinyScript is on a distinguished road
Javascript to update server files

Hi, I've been asked by a potential customer to help create a website where students link to a page with course lists and prices and when they choose a course he wants a file updated with the name and course and price. Then they need to go on to register and have another file updated. Can I do this with just javascript? If so, is there a tutorial where I can learn how it's done. I hope to be able to tell the customer I can, but if not, I'd like to know that I'm not qualified to build the functionality he requires. It will be a sad moment.

Any help would be great, thanks.

kamputty is an unknown quantity at this point
Here is a good doc that covers things like what you are asking...

https://developer.mozilla.org/En/Using_XMLHttpRequest

See if you can find something there!
