URL giving 404 Error

Hi,

I have my pages giving 404 Error. When I try to access the pages in a browser, they work fine. But google.com, digg.com and everyother such site is giving a 404 error on those.

Example url

http://www.atoneplace.tv/play/84/Ema...Drive__Gurgaon

Now this works fine in any browser (you needed to be logged in). But does not give any 404 error.

When trying to be indexed by Google, or put into digg, it reports 404 error... Please help...

Thanks

Are you using the ErrorDocument directive to make your friendly urls?

Firebugs' NET console also says

Thanks for responding.

We did try the Error Document and also mod_rewrite rules.
However, it doesn;t seem to work.

Possible reasosn:
1. The rules are wrong or being used unwisely (error)
or
2. Our web server is not kicking the rules in. Now when I check with my ISp, he says, that the apache running on the server has the mod_rewrite rules ON. Is there a way to simply test that?

You might have seen that the url is fine, just that wget gives a 404 error

Need help... Thanks

Could you post your rules then?
