CMS that supports Custom Content Types

Hey All,

I'm currently looking for an Open Source PHP\mySQL CMS product that allows the creation of custom content types, or allows you add custom metadata to the content type.

Somethink like umbraco, where you can create your own document types, and then add styles onto that content... using styling tags... Rather than just "Articles" or pages.

IE: I can create a content type in my tree, and that content type has specific meta fields on them. IE: List of software, I could have Name, Link, Description, Image etc...

I am aware of Drupal, but having worked with that previously, i dont really like it.

Cheers

CMS Made Simple is my only answer. Based on Smarty, 100% flexible, lots of add-on modules, active community and developers.

Joomla does this as well. I think most mature systems will be able to handle this, but it really just depends on what you prefer and what works best for your needs.

If you want the really flexible custom content type creation, look at drupal with CCK module. you won't need to look at any other CMS.
