Question Reputation? is broken!

On this page; http://codingforums.com/faq.php?do=search&q=disable under Reputation - How do I give reputation?
Quote:
What if I don't want anyone to see my reputation?

You can disable the display of your reputation by going to your User CP and selecting Edit Options. On this page you will find a check box labelled 'Show Your Reputation Level'. Un-checking this box will remove the display of your reputation and replace it with the Reputation Disabled icon. You can still give and receive reputation while your reputation display is disabled.
When will this be fixed?

On top of this why do I not know or even see who has givin me a bad rep?

When will this also be fixed?

Cheers

I don't believe you're ever allowed to see who gives/takes rep from you. Its just the way its done. Technically it can be modified though, since it does track this in the database.
As for disabling, I believe that our ability to disable reputation has been disabled. Lol, best sentence ever.

I can see one out of 4 who gave me rep, that is why I asked.
Edit:
I really don't see the point of the reputation function, what will it do for me other than be a gimmick?
One other thing; I got a bad rep for saying Thank you? Whats up with that? - I mean like really whats up with that?

You can only see who has given you rep if they sign their name in the comment. Otherwise it isn't viewable to you through the user control panel. As for disabling it, you can't, that feature is disabled AFAIK, the FAQ isn't something we wrote, it is just the generic vB one.

Edit: I do disagree with people who give negative reputation because for example they think the OP should have used google. Similarly, posts in that vein will get you in trouble.

OK so it's like life; Like it or not this was done before the Romans.
Eat the cake or don't eat the cake - either way nobody really cares.

You can change you fate but not your destiny!
Got it!

Thanks.

Basically don't ask if it wasn't explained the first time.

If it was explained the first time the OP would've known what him/her was actually talking about in the first place, not just throw/dump code just 'cause they Googled/had it.
Fair enough.

Thanks.

BabyJack is an unknown quantity at this point
Try not to double-post.
No bad-rep given.
Edit: I was gonna give you good reputation—but I already gave you good rep so I must 'spread it around'.
