Welcome to the "Web Projects" forums. Before you post, make sure you've selected the correct category based on the size of your project (in US dollars), or whether it is a partnership or "looking for work" request instead. Observe the guidelines for this section:
To all thread starters, check your "pm" box for responses, as that's how bidders will be communicating with you mainly using. You can turn on new pm notification by going to "User CP"-> "Edit Options"-> "Receive Email Notification of New Private Messages".
To respondents, avoid replying to a thread with a short generic response like "pm sent" as much as possible. It is pointless and clutters up the screen.
To respondents, don't reply to a work request with a summary of your resume. If you're not willing to spend the time to at least read the request and respond specifically to the request, then don't reply. The Web Projects forum isn't a place to get your resume/ portfolio posted on as many threads as possible, it's for the direct, human interaction between coder and client. Members who blanket the forums with their resume replies will be treated as spammers and banned.
To all thread starters, please update your thread's prefix to "resolved", when you've found a coder for your project or partnership (or wish to terminate the request). This is so coders don't waste time bidding on an invalid project. To do this, click on the "Edit" button under the first post of the thread, then the "Go Advanced" button. You have 14 days to update your thread's title.
just dropping in to advertise [hope this is not breaching etiquette in here]
i will state requirements explicitly so no-one is misled
if you are
a) very good with php/mySQL, html, and a bit of cgi and sundry
b) have plenty of time on your hands
c) willing to wait for profits before being paid
then i have a fairly advanced concept and initial a&d on what a lot of colleagues feel is a very lucrative facebook appn
if you are interested and live in Brisbane Queensland, please email me privately
That's like doing charity work for a none charity you don't do it

I'm pretty sure most PHP developers on this site are only willing to work for cash and will probably not have time to work on something for free. I know I certainly will never have the time to work on a project for free, especially if it is going to be a large project.
Well since its in the right forum people posting here can't really expect to be paid as it will be a partnership. Usually though to get people to help you need to have a business plan. You don't seem to really have one plus you aren't articulating your sentences properly so it makes things look less professional.

If I, as a web developer, am going to stick myself out there and join a partnership, I want to know some heavy details.
1) What is the product exactly?
2) Who else is involved, and what do they do?
3) Why is this really so lucrative?
4) Why is this facebook application going to be worth my time, since there are only a million out there already.
5) Payment and ownership, if there is ever going to be money from this project, how will it be distributed from the central partnership to the partners? What exactly do I own?
There are more things, but the biggest flaw here is the lack of quality details about what you actually want to do. Sure I have the skill set based on your 2 line description of the requirements, but does that make me qualified? Not necessarily.
Also, the location requirement is pretty difficult to manage from Germany, but thats understandable. Perhaps you should also be looking in the local listings or something.
