Scroll box anchor links within a cell

Hi,

I'm just learning some basic stuff and have never really designed a site till now so excuse if this has been dealt with before but I am creating a page with a basic table layout. In the central cell I have a scrolling box wiht anchors that link it up and down with a navigation across the top of this cell. Above it I have a image which I want to keep above it at the top of the page.

Problem is when I hit the back to 'top' links in the scroll box to take viewers back to the navigation at the top of the cell, it literraly takes that point to the top of the page pushing the image above out of site.

Is there any way you can link with in the scorll box without chaning the position of the whole page in the viewable are of the screen.

Anytips much appreciated.

Adopt some CSS based layouts. http://bonrouge.com/2c-hf-fixed.php has some good layouts
