What is the best client side for creating something like this...

I would like to make a page for a photographer friend, I would place 8 or 10 images that would be linked to their prospective proof pages, I would like the main page to act similar to this: http://www.larrysizemore.com/
I put this thread in the Flash forum since the above link seems to be made in Flash. I am a amateur when it comes to web design, I have used a bit of JS like Lightbox. What would be the simplest to use JS or Flash to create this desired effect? I use Dreamweaver for web design.
Can anyone point in the right direction?

the best solution for you is to download a free ready made flash website template
and the web is full with such free templates , you can use google to search for free templates or even rapidshare....
after you dowload it, open it with dreamweaver and try to understand how it work, and if you see it and open it every day you will understand it ...but if you have free time you can dowload free ebooks and study the flash world i depth as a programmer and/or as a webdesigner/graphic designer or all of this...
