flash loading problems in IE6 and a version of IE7

I am having trouble with swf files not fully loading in multiple web pages.
In the newest version of IE7, all seems to work. In a different version number of IE7 on a different computer there are issues. The flash movie does not load text. In another the movie fades in the first few frames and then stops.

So, I have encountered this problem in IE 7 and in a Windows virtual machine version of IE6. Initially I attributed this bug to using swfobject. I then took out swfobject.js and instead used the embed object method for placing flash. This seemed to fix some other flash loading problems I encountered but there are still two movies that display the problems I noted above.

The pages are: markets
(does not display text in colored blocks in IE6 (VM) and IE7.0.5730.11 but does display them in IE7.0.5730.13!)

and directions
(movie does not fully load; only first few frames display in IE6 (VM) and IE7...11)

Firefox and Safari display fine.

Has anyone encountered a problem like this before?

thanks.

Generally I've not hard problems with cross browser issues. I just tested with IETester...and it works fine for me. Have you tried on a computer that still runs IE6? Is your flash up-to-date on the VM?

Its more likely an issue with the flash install..even though bugs like this are possible. I would think that they would have been addressed by now if they affect IE6.

It works on a regular machine running IE6 (not a virtual machine). It works on newer IE7 versions...I'm at a loss to explain why it is buggy like this. But I have encountered the problems on two seperate instances. Once on the VM and then on a seperate computer running XP and IE7(.11).

Perhaps it is the VM, I really don't know much about them but I know most people don't use them for their daily usage! So if it works outside of the VM, then I don't think you should be concerned with it.
