[JAVA] Graphical Editor Framework (GEF) question

Hello,

I am setting up a project for a Team UML Modeling application.
I am searching for a good framework to create and edit the UML diagrams.
I know that there are multiple library's i can use. One of these is the framework GEF (well i hope it is otherwise i misunderstood the framework completely haha).
The only problem is that i cant find any useful documentation. I am searching for some good documentation for this framework with some examples, so i can create i good image of what i can expect of this framework.

I hope you can help me with this.
