flash slideshow question.

Hello.

I just wanted to start by saying, I have never used flash before (ever).

And I am currently working on a google maps page for my University to enhance university relations. I saw this and loved it.

I am curious is this an out of the box product or a custom made flash slideshow.

I have no problem learning something, but before I venture down that road I was hoping to identify what I would try to make.

any help would be great.
Thanks.

Flash has several slideshow templates built into it, but the flash on the link looks like it was created from scratch. I would be happy to help you create something for your university in actionscript if you want.

I think that this is a premade solution that you should be able to customize with an XML file. I don't know what the name of it is, but my university used it at one point as well.

This would be a bit difficult for someone with no Flash experience to create, buying something would be cheaper than purchasing the Flash software itself too.

If you want some help, check this thread to get you started.
