is a clever website that is live and working and gaining members daily. It's ready to monetize immediately. I'm looking to partner with a skilled web development individual to take it to the next step and beyond. The site has a solid business model that has tested well and googles #2 for an "Athlete Sponsorship
The story so far: I hired a large and professional web development company to create the site. What I got was 90% of what I asked for and a long list of excuses when they ran into staffing difficulties and couldn't complete it. I have since spent thousands more fixing the remaining bugs with another firm who are very good but essentially too busy with full service clients and they don't need the piece work. The site is now live but free.
The purpose of the site is to provide tools and strategies to sports-people looking to raise sponsorship money. Aside from the obvious benefits of them having a comprehensive mini-site on an athlete directory, SportFund.com wants to make each member an affiliate and pay them a percentage of new business. Essentially, new members will pay $5 per month to have a mini-site on SportFund.com. Any new members who click thru and join from that member's mini-site, buttons or banners (including emails) will earn him/her $1 per month. The commission would pay down three levels. Half the billing code work is done to enable the site to operate via a PayPal subscription service. I need a full suite of affiliate functions with multi-tier commission tracking & payments with online member reports. The site already has 400 free members from all over the world so there needs to be some factoring in for currencies etc.
looking for someone expecting to knock up a bit of code during their lunch break and be done with it. This is a business partnership offer that is expected to span the life of the site or at least until we sell it to Google for 10 million, split the loot and go our seperate ways. Once the monetizing is done I see lots of work in SEO and upgrades to keep it at the top. That's why I want a percentage partner not a service provider.
The development costs so far exceed $50,000 and thousands of hours. I don't want your money but you would need to be prepared to bring plenty of coding skill and committment to the project to negotiate the 40% share I'm offering. Smaller percentages for lesser contributions may be considered.
Take a look at the site
