Lightbulb Need tips on getting paid...

Hello ppl,

I have a website at Qiksearch.com where I host JavaScripts that I write. I get around 50,000-60,000 page views per month. I spend money on my hosting but I never get any income.

Are 50,000 page-views/month good enough to get any income?
Please suggest me ways that I could get some cash or anything flow in....

Making money

Advertising may be a good bet - per click banners BUT be warned they can irritate as well as provide profit.

Consider scripting for hire. I notice you have some very good work on your site. If your not making money then I am surprised.

Also, can you sell some of your space with another domain name for others to use, even offer to maintaing their site for them? Maybe even offer email and dialup accounts for a small fee. It can work well if planned right.

Good luck

Not related to topic, but a suggestion :

that floating news-menu has transparent on IE, but not on Moz. You can define background transparent also for Mozilla with:
<style type="text/css">
.transParent {filter:alpha(opacity=66);-moz-opacity:66%;}
</style>

I can't advice how to get profit with your website, because I consider advertising very crude source of money.

You maybe should sell your concept (or parts of it) to a company, which would be interested of "owning" your site.

If a comany buys your concept it will be to make money out of it...

...and that would be done through advertising. (or some other way)

Therefore it might be more interesting for you to do the advertisement thingy (or the other way) yourself.
