RPG-esque site seeks PHP programmer(s)

Now I did see another posting here for an avatar site, but this is slightly different. We already have an avatar system (developed by myself) in place and the only coding that needs to be done is... well.. basically everything else. Here's the story:

Opening shortly, Malthea (http://www.malthea.com) will be an active anime-style roleplaying community with a built-in avatar system similar to other project sites that exist today (gaiaonline.com, zantarni.com, menewsha.com). We expect our community to explode with users when the site opens!
We are currently looking for PHP programmers to help develop specific elements of the site. Currently I am the only programmer on the job, and although it isn't beyond my scope, I know that there is a lot I could learn, a lot that I'm probably forgetting, and parts that I just don't have time to do all on my own!

Some of the details are as follows:

PHP Programming

Seeking individuals who are competent in PHP and MySQL. Preferably with experiences working with PHP forums such as ipb (our framework) or phpbb, etc..
Programmers must be aware of different site permissions, etc.. will need someone who can program a new registration system, a new profile system (not necessarily integrated with the forums), and many many other features. Hopefully someone willing to work with me in a team environment (remotely of course).

AJAX knowledge is a must, and therefore some minor experience with Javascript will be required. Nothing crazy necessarily. AJAX frameworks can always be created or provided if we need.

The key aspect is that we need someone who can work with us to create this RPG-style site, work with a virtual currency, maybe even get a donation system up and running for us. Nothing extremely difficult.

There IS a budget for this kind of project, and I suppose we can do it on a contracted basis depending on what work is done. This is why I posted it in this forum.. I'm not sure what to offer someone for a set of work that could potentially fluctuate in the amount of work that needs to be done.
