Welcome to the "Web Projects" forums. Before you post, make sure you've selected the correct category based on the size of your project (in US dollars), or whether it is a partnership or "looking for work" request instead. Observe the guidelines for this section:
To all thread starters, check your "pm" box for responses, as that's how bidders will be communicating with you mainly using. You can turn on new pm notification by going to "User CP"-> "Edit Options"-> "Receive Email Notification of New Private Messages".
To respondents, avoid replying to a thread with a short generic response like "pm sent" as much as possible. It is pointless and clutters up the screen.
To respondents, don't reply to a work request with a summary of your resume. If you're not willing to spend the time to at least read the request and respond specifically to the request, then don't reply. The Web Projects forum isn't a place to get your resume/ portfolio posted on as many threads as possible, it's for the direct, human interaction between coder and client. Members who blanket the forums with their resume replies will be treated as spammers and banned.
To all thread starters, please update your thread's prefix to "resolved", when you've found a coder for your project or partnership (or wish to terminate the request). This is so coders don't waste time bidding on an invalid project. To do this, click on the "Edit" button under the first post of the thread, then the "Go Advanced" button. You have 14 days to update your thread's title.

If you fit these requirements and are VERY eager to advance your knowledge, want to work for a couple of easy going guys, get paid more than just the work asked for--YES!---that means profit sharing/performance pay.So the more the site produces the more of a large bonus that YOU can make, yes as much as like 10g a month. If you are seriously intersted..Please msn me at brl1971 at hotmail... send me your port and what kind of wage you want. Your ports MUST pass validation test with no more than 15 errors on the page and I check them at w3.org site too. So Send me an email asap.. we can start fixing things and make everyone a ton of cash..
If you're looking for a php/mysql programmer, why are you running their portfolio through the w3c validator? I'm a php coder and I had nothing to do with the HTML in most of my portfolio. You don't mention anything about wanting HTML/CSS skills in your post.
Also, is this full time/part time, in-house/freelance, min guaranteed wage?
I was going to email then I saw you accept people who allow up to 15 errors in their work. One is too many in my book.
NancyJ if you're writing PHP that does things like generate RSS feeds, returns values for use with AJAX httpRequests, etc then you have a valid point.
You're also completely ignoring my point, which is that a php programmer didn't necessarily write the html or have anything to do with it, or as is very often the case, after the original coder has finished, some 'designer' has come in a ****ed with it all, meaning, whilst the php still works, the once finely crafted html is now a mess of tables and font tags
Indeed, there is a reason why we differentiate between front-end and back-end developers. And one isnít necessarily good in one of the other (or both) fields. And you donít have to be because thatís what ďthe other guyĒ is for.
