To all thread starters, check your "pm" box for responses, as that's how bidders will be communicating with you mainly using. You can turn on new pm notification by going to "User CP"-> "Edit Options"-> "Receive Email Notification of New Private Messages".
To respondents, avoid replying to a thread with a short generic response like "pm sent" as much as possible. It is pointless and clutters up the screen.
To respondents, don't reply to a work request with a summary of your resume. If you're not willing to spend the time to at least read the request and respond specifically to the request, then don't reply. The Web Projects forum isn't a place to get your resume/ portfolio posted on as many threads as possible, it's for the direct, human interaction between coder and client. Members who blanket the forums with their resume replies will be treated as spammers and banned.
To all thread starters, please update your thread's prefix to "resolved", when you've found a coder for your project or partnership (or wish to terminate the request). This is so coders don't waste time bidding on an invalid project. To do this, click on the "Edit" button under the first post of the thread, then the "Go Advanced" button. You have 14 days to update your thread's title.
The3DMafia Project - I currently need some artists/graphic designers - Some Java coders, i currently need a proffessional if possible free 3D Java Engine with advice how to use it - This game is going to be based on the mafia, if anybody has ever played RuneScape i am attempting with friends to make a game like this, if anybody has an engine, advice how to use it, requirements, and maybe a few skills of there own, either reply on here or add, speed_mc@hotmail.co.uk - or add [messages@universalmobsters.com] because i am going to make a hotmail account now, check out the front page i am trying to make at the moment, i did it from scratch no stealing http://www.universalmobsters.com/T3M/ - Go on that site, it will be getting updated now and again i need more ideas again

Are you offering pay? If so then there are probably plenty of java coders (as well as graphic designers and artists) that would be willing to help (We have a work offers forum here on coding forums in fact!). However, if you aren't willing to pay, then you're going to find it hard to get regular people interested without something to attract them.
As far as graphics engines goes, I believe that opengl has a java port
What i was thinking, when i get subscribed users, like Jagex do, i was thinking that i could split the profits, so if i'm making up to 12 grand a month, and theres up to 12 people making it thats 1 grand each, and then if i start making 50 grand a month, i could make it so the most important people get the most profit, like me and a few other java coders, and graphics designers, could get a nice slice, and people like organizers, mods etc. Could get little - middle profits, if anyones interested Private Message me or add the email that i told you to add, and only message, messages@universalmobsters.com its a POP3 email account!
