Critique
I don't know where to post this, so don't go bonkers if I did it wrong.
Can you provide feedback on my site? http://elementfinder.freehostia.com/PeriodicTable.php Only elements 1-48 work so far. Is the design and layout okay? Is the text size okay and readable? Any improvements I could make? Thanks. |

cool, its a nice concept.. What i would suggest is having something in the bottom section. I mean two people took a look at it and thought the site had a broken link.
Maybe adding an interactive table, and having the search look that element up and displays the properties and maybe have a few examples of every day objects that use that element and have a break down of it. Also on the interactive element table, you could have some javascript that when you hover over that element it displays what you have now... ex if you hovered over zinc, a small little display window would show up and give this information ---------------------- Name: Zinc Symbol: Zn Atomic Number: 30 Atomic Mass: 65.39 Electronegativity value: 1.60 Valence Electrons: N/A Transition Metal Block: d-block -------------------- that way there is a quick refrence on the front page. Everything looks good though, everything is laid out with space and everything is readable. The colors dont clash either... well good luck man!!

We have a website review forum for this type of thing. I don't like the logo. Not too excited about the colors. I think you should give a better message than Not Found perhaps Enter an element into the search box.

nah, I agree about the not found comment, but otherwise I think it looks fine. Just remove "not found" altogether I say.

Updated!
Fixed not found error added searching for polyatomic ions (like ammonium, acetate, bicarbonate, or the formulas like nh4, c2h3o2, only the ones that start with a, b, or c though.) |

Right, because the latter part was actually processed by my brain...
A last suggestion, add some padding to the bottom bit and the divide. It's flush straight on the edge at the moment and looks a bit weird
