Hello, I've used Flash off and on for the past few years, but I don't ever remember my text having a light colored box behind it. It only appears when I use the anti-aliasing, but if I don't use it the text doesn't look as good. Is this common? Is there a way to fix it.
Could you try to give more of an idea what you are describing? I can't think of a background property thats in the GUI, so could you explain better what is going on? Or perhaps post the file?

My example is the link I posted. Wherever there is text, there is a faint box behind it. It only appears when I anti-alias the text. I would like to anti-alias it because the text is easier to read.
What version of flash did you use to make it and what version of flash player is it set to export to? I still don't see this. Is the blue background what you are talking about or is it something different? Make sure you right click and unselect the option Show Redraw Areas.
