Web Application Developer - PHP/MYSQL/AJAX
As web developer at foodea.com you’ll be responsible for the creation and maintenance of a multitude of web technologies supporting our web application foodea.com. You will work directly with our team of designers and developers to implement the required functionalities. You must be able to work both independently and as member of a team, and must demonstrate skills to solve problems with little supervision. The ideal candidate is an experienced web application developer with expertise in PHP, MySQL, Apache, Javascipt/AJAX, and XHMTL/CSS.
Job Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
* 2+ years professional experience web development
* Experience with database web applications is a must (primarily web 2.0 applications)
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Mature, self-motivated and able to work well independently and in a team environment
* Strong problem solving skills and ability to prioritize workload
* Strong attention to detail
* English speaking, reading and writing
Technical Skills:
* PHP
* MySQL
* Apache
* Javascipt/AJAX
* XHTML/CSS
* WCAG, and supporting w3c recommendations
Other Details:
* Full-time position (salary dependent on experience and qualifications)
* GTA (Toronto, Canada)
* Being a young company, candidate should be comfortable in a startup atmosphere
