My first attempt at blogging

Hey, My site is 1/2 freelance site 1/2 blog. can you guys please review one of my blog posts and tell me if you think the quality is good enough.

Hi,
I like the sort of minimalistic style you have used but I am not sure it will appeal to the web 2.0 crowd.
As to content, the page you linked to is very useful for novices so IMHO you need to be sure this is the audience you are targeting.
If you are just posting to promote your site, it worked because I will visit again.

Thanks for the comment.

Since it is my freelance site I am trying to target beginners that are looking into getting a website. This way the may hire me in the future. So I don't mind if the web 2.0 crowd does not like it :-).

And I'm not advertising it as it is not yet complete.
